A single test to detect and differentiate SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A & B, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) subtypes A & B, and more.

A variety of viruses and some bacteria can cause infections of the respiratory tract (lungs, nose, and throat). These disease-causing microbes are called pathogens. Ayass BioScience, LLC offers respiratory testing panel (high-level molecular lab test) using one nasopharyngeal swab to identify 24 pathogens in the respiratory tract when a person presents with symptoms such as:

Fever, chills
Sore throat
Cough
Runny or stuffy nose
Muscle aches
Trouble breathing
Weakness, fatigue
Headache

Determining whether you have a respiratory infection due to certain bacteria or viruses helps guide management of a respiratory infection. It is important that RPP results be interpreted carefully in clinical context.

Like other common respiratory tract infections, SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, shares similar signs and symptoms as other pathogens. Co-infection with SARS-CoV-2 and other respiratory viruses, including influenza and RSV is possible. That is why the COVID-19 test is included with our Respiratory Panel.

The results of our Respiratory Panel testing will be ready in 24 hours. Common available tests for respiratory infections are often limited to testing for one specific pathogen and several samples may be needed, making this process difficult and time consuming.

ORDER FORM & SAMPLE REPORT

There are many types of pathogens that can infect the respiratory tract. Symptoms are very similar, but treatment can be different. It’s important to find the pathogen person carry in order to identify a proper treatment. Results in 24 hours can allow in order to get started treatment earlier for a fast recovery.

OUR RESPIRATORY PANEL PATHOGENS:

Adenovirus
Haemophilus Influenzae
SARS-CoV-2
Coronavirus 229E
Coronavirus HKU1
Coronavirus NL63
Coronavirus OC43
Influenza A (Pan)
Influenza A/H1-2009
Influenza A/H3
Influenza B
Metapneumovirus (hMPV)
Mycoplasma pneumoniae
Streptococcus pneumoniae
Parainfluenza virus 1
Parainfluenza virus 2
Parainfluenza virus 3
Parainfluenza virus 4
Respiratory syncytial virus A (RSV A)
Respiratory syncytial virus B (RSV B)
Rhinovirus
Legionella pneumophila
Staphylococcus aureus
Enterovirus (Pan)

A positive test result means a specific pathogen was found. If more than one part of the panel was positive, it means a person may be carrying more than one pathogen.

A negative result means that none of the tested pathogens are present in the sample or that they are below the detection limit.

Based on the test results, a medical provider will recommend the right treatment. If you have questions about your test results, talk to your health care provider.

Appropriate Treatment Relies on Knowing,
Not Guessing.

Our test will help improve clinician’s confidence in diagnosis and aid in antimicrobial treatment. Based on this test results, medical provider will recommend the right medical management. If you have questions about your test results, talk to your health care provider.
